In between, audiences will experience the ups and downs of the pair’s superstardom, which culminated in their split in 1970. Having visited fifty countries and counting, The Simon & Garfunkel Story returns to North America for a lengthy tour across 44 premier venues. Its closing month will be exclusive to the Great White North and will include a performance at the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium on May 23.
The Story of Simon & Garfunkel is a world-renowned production that blends concert and theater to tell the tale of the titular triple Hall of Fame singers, featuring exclusive photos and footage projected in state-of-the-art high definition. It will also exhibit a full-piece live band to play a crowd-pleasing catalog of the pair’s best-selling singles, which include the GRAMMY Award-winning hits "Mrs. Robinson,” "Bridge over Troubled Water,” and, of course, "The Sound of Silence."
Chapter by chapter, the event will shine a spotlight on Simon & Garfunkel’s youthful “Tom & Jerry” days, the unprecedented heights of their 60s superstardom, and their dramatic breakup in 1970, all leading up to a cathartic finale in the record-breaking 1981 “Concert in Central Park” reunion, where over half a million fans flooded in attendance.

Filling in the roles of the legendary duo are former child actor and Zathura star Jonah Bobo as Paul Simon and Max Pinson or Brendan Jacob Smith as Art Garfunkel. As for support, the show presents a cast of some of today’s most promising performers and musicians, which include George Clements, Zach Kamins, Bob Sale, Martín Martiarena, Billy Harrington, Marc Encabo, Collin Keller, Joshua Vasquez, and Jay Hemphill.
On the creative side of the stage, the production enlists a group of endlessly inspired veteran talent led by Show Director and Musical Supervisor Dean Elliot.
