Shen Yun Performing Arts at Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium Tickets

Stand awestruck as China's ancient histories unfold in an inspiring celebration teeming with passion, color, and spirituality. Shen Yun — the globe's greatest cultural dance organization — has announced this year’s schedule of performances connecting many of North America’s most esteemed venues, which includes the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium on Sunday 20th April 2025!

Before the period of Communist reign, FIVE THOUSAND years of culture, legends, and arts thrived in every region of mainland China, and year in and year out, the New York City-based Shen Yun breathes life into these enduring treasures for all to cherish! 2025 is no exception.

Celestial beings walking across the earth. Sprawling grasslands swept by nomadic hordes of Mongols. And the wartime heroism of fearless soldiers. Shen Yun’s seasonal performances explore the countless legends and parables that transcended Chinese dynasties, artistically illustrating their calamities and fortunes with teachings from Buddhist and Taoist creeds to complete each tale.

The approaching production will feature 20 narrative segments of unbelievable performances in roughly 2 hours. Classically instructed dancers decked in delightfully colorful costumes will take to the floor, narrating the show’s sagas through 17 or 18 elaborate ethnic dance pieces. Additionally, 2 or 3 instrumental and vocal solos will accentuate these episodes with soaring symphonies — original and traditional alike.

A live symphony orchestra will perform a rousing score throughout the event, innovatively incorporating Western and Chinese instruments. In terms of staging, Shen Yun employs a state-of-the-art virtual background to display animated scenarios, pulling viewers into the realm of ancient China in a spectacular fashion.

For the run's pit stop in Alberta's city of Edmonton, the world-class Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium will serve as host. Its renowned stage, graced by many of the past century's hottest acts, will present the base for the awesome exhibition, elevating it further with splendid vantage points, dynamic lighting, and pitch-perfect acoustics.
