Nicknamed "The Machine", Bert Kreischer is an American stand-up comedian, podcaster, reality TV host, and actor. He first made his national recognition when a six-page Rolling Stone article titled "Bert Kreischer: The Undergraduate" was published. This gave a huge boost to his career. Even though he was still a student at Florida State University, the article catapulted him into the public eye and later served as the basis for the 2002 film National Lampoon's Van Wilder. The comedian, who hailed from St. Petersburg, Florida, took advantage of his sudden fame by billing himself as "the top partyer at the Number One Party School in the country." Because of this, he became a major player in the early 2000s stand-up comedy scene.
Also known as "Fat Sticks," Kreischer went on to become one of the most sought-after stand-up comics of his generation. He released his first comedy special in 2004, which he cleverly named "National Lampoon Live: New Faces – Volume 2." In 2009, Showtime released "Comfortably Dumb," which was his first major stand-up comedy special produced by a premium television network. This was followed by 2016's "The Machine" and two stand-up specials produced by the streaming giant Netflix: "Secret Time" in 2018 and "Hey Big Boy" in 2020.
This 2023, The Machine is back on the comedy concert scene after the successful run of his "The Berty Boy Tour Relapse." This time, Kreischer is back on stage with brand new antics that will surely delight all his loyal fans. Dubbed "Tops Off World Tour," the series of shows will allow the 49-year-old comic to perform in major venues worldwide, including Canada's Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium, on March 3, 2023. Tickets to the show are on sale now and can be purchased on this site. Click the "Get Tickets" link for a safe and fast transaction.
