One of Broadway's most popular musicals is going to be live at Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium in Edmonton,Alberta. Simba, Mufasa, Scar and company will be taking the stage on Friday 25th July 2025.

There's no question that The Lion King story is one that resonates with people in multiple different ways. Yes, the film was meant for kids, but it's a sad story to say the least. It takes a prodigal son style of arch that has kept people in theaters at the edge of their seats as they watch the story unfold since 1997. These are mostly people who already know the story! It's amazing to think that the Lion King continues to sell out shows on Broadway and across the world even though most people know how the story is going to end. That's going to be the case in Edmonton, Alberta on Friday 25th July 2025.
One of the things that keeps people coming back to this performance are the tracks. It's a rather intense soundtrack with music about life, loss, and of course, Hakuna Matata. The current cast provides amazing renditions of these anthems that folks love. At the same time, the tracks helps weave the story together in this musical version in a way that keeps people interested.
